This error has occurred on multiple computers and multiple printers, so it appears to be a problem with the document. Click Save in the save dialogue box, and save the file to whatever location you want. Look for the PDF button in the lower left corner, click on that pull-down menu, and select Save as PDF. Preview will open PDF documents for viewing but it will NOT display dynamic/interactive content.

This computer has previously had Acrobat Pro 5.0 and Acrobat Pro 7.0. Have tried all troubleshooting with no luck.
